CONDITIONS OF SALE & TERMS

To open an account two trade references and one bank reference are required.

Prices are exclusive of V.A.T.  The price includes the cost of delivery, except when otherwise stated, and also on condition that the carriage paid order value is ordered.  See `Value'.

All items are offered subject to being available at the time of loading.

Prices may be subject to alteration without prior notice, although we do endeavour to give at least 7 days notice of an increase.

Goods are not tested as fit for any particular purpose.  In no circumstances whatsoever shall our Company's liability to our customer arising under, out of, or in connection with the goods supplied, exceed the invoice price of the particular piece(s) in regard to which the complaint is made.

 QUOTATIONS:

A sample or a drawing to exact specification is required for all special mouldings.

Any delivery dates from receipt of order, stated on our quotation, are current at the date when the quotation is typed and the period of time of delivery from receipt of order may vary on other occasions in the future.

 VALUE:

Minimum carriage paid order value for stock items:

Minimum carriage paid order value for stock items: £150 + V.A.T.

For orders of less than the above a small order charge applies.  The charge is added to the invoice(s).

 CLAIMS:

Claims, not applying to shortages or damage in transit, may be given consideration provided such claims are made within 3 days of arrival of goods.

The number of items and their condition must be checked on arrival, as any claims for shortage or damage in transit must be made at the time of arrival, otherwise such claims cannot be considered.

The Company will collect it's own stock items for return, if not required by the customer due to over-ordering or change of requirement, and issue a credit note at 90% of the invoice value of the goods.  Such claims must be received within 10 days of delivery date and goods must be in a saleable condition and in full packs or bundles, otherwise a credit note cannot be considered.  This condition excludes all items manufactured to our customers' individual specifications.

 TERMS:

Goods:  2½% discount if paid within 14 days from date of invoice.  Otherwise strictly nett 30 days.

V.A.T.:  Value Added Tax is nett of discount and must be paid in full within 30 days.
