SUBSTANTIAL INVESTMENT

To meet growing demand for their extensive range of timber products Masons has installed new automated production and handling equipment within their Mills at Colwick, Nottingham which will increase production of planed products and help reduce costs keeping the Company competitive.  New additional shrink-wrapping stations have also been installed to meet the growing demand for packaged products.

Timber Products continue to be a central point of purchase for the DIY consumer.  ``We are currently working on an innovative merchandising concept, which will make selling timber products much easier for the retailer and make Timber Home Improvement Products accessible to other market sectors and consumer types".

Although Multiple DIY Retailers continue to grow their markets Masons continue to add an average of 26 new customers per month to their Independent market.
